Hey! I’m Leah, and I’m a portrait photographer in Houston, TX.
I started Leah Elizabeth Photography in 2017, specializing in lifestyle portraits for seniors, couples, and families.

For each session and photograph I take, I am dedicated to celebrating people and their stories, capturing beauty, meaning, and depth, and experiencing meaningful, real connection. Photography has truly been such a fulfilling creative outlet, and I’m looking forward to many more years behind the lens!

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at the beach, in a yoga class, or jet-setting off to a new place. I’ve been a Texas gal my entire life, but I love travel and am always looking for a new adventure!

How I Got Started

I’ve always been drawn to creative roles, but I stumbled into photography by accident, really. It didn’t take me long to realize that photography was a creative outlet I was really excited about, and something I could actually translate from a hobby into a business. Four years later, my little business continues to grow and I continue to be inspired & encouraged by the people I meet and the stories I get to capture. Who knew a spontaneous Craigslist camera purchase would lead to this?

Education

I graduated from the Business Honors program at The University of Houston in December 2016, where I majored in Marketing & Management. I currently work full-time during the week in a marketing & design role, and spend my weekends running my photography business. It’s been the best of both worlds!
